worked well for a short time
Thursday, 28 August 2008
I bought this shredder a few months ago on clearance (I guess that should have been a warning). It did very well with up to 3 sheets (not the 7-8 sheets advertised), and did not have a problem with credit cards. However, about 2 months after purchasing it, the auto shut off stopped working, and the shredder ran the whole time the power was on. A couple of days ago, I was shredding a couple of those cards that you get in the mail with credit card offers and the machine just stopped working. I was able to get it started a couple of times by turning it off and on, but then it just quit. It also overheated very quickly - no more than 3 minutes of run time once the auto off stopped working.
