Royal HT500X Shredder Description:

Pros and Cons

Pros	- Easy to see when bucket is full; - Design is ok; - Security for fingers.
Cons	- Plastic mecanism; - Very loud when working - Hard to shred only 1 sheet. (2 is almost impossible)

Review

A bad product from Royal. It's my first shredder and I really do not like it. It's slow and really loud. The "teeth" are in plastic and 2 of them broke after 1 month of only 1 or 2 uses per week. Also, engine is having hard time to shred only one sheet. It slow down a lot and if you put 2 sheets it will be almost impossible to pass through. I never tried 3 but I'm sure it simply impossible to shred. Forget about credit card or cd. This shredder is only for really light use. And even with that, I'm not sure it will last more than a year. I really do not reccommand that product. Spend a little more for a quality product.
