Diamond Cut Paper Shredders

Banks and those institutions that deal in important and private papers prefer diamond Cut Paper Shredders. The reason is that papers culminate in little diamond-shaped shreds that are hard to put together. The mechanism is unique. Wheel-blades are put in a crisscross way and work in parallel way. This ensures that the shreds coming out are in diamond shapes. The machine is best when electrically powered, as it needs continuous tempo. If the electrical connection is erratic, there can be frequent paper jams.

The blades are in steel and cut through any thinkable thin substance including cards and clips. The machine gets overheated quickly and so needs rest for half an hour after every five minutes. It is an ultra-sensitive instrument that guarantees little but most secure shredding.

Good shredders come with protection from overheating and overloading. They shred about 9 papers per minute, as it is a complicated process. Paper insertion is through a 9-inch throat. You may need to fold the papers if the throat is short.

The machine is suitable in plastic frame and does not weigh more than 6 kilograms. They cut strips of about .25X1.25 inch shreds. There are safety switches and patented system to stop the process if hands are near shredders. It also comes with windows to check the condition of shredding. 3.6-gallon metal baskets that are see-through in nature are installed in good Diamond Cut Shredder Machines.

Like others, the machine also gives indication of paper jams, paper presence when the machine is switched on. Reverse mechanism is also placed to work when the baskets are full. The mechanism is also manual and helps if you want to personally check the shredding.

It needs the most power and shredding oil and thus offices do generally not prefer it. It is however the most effective in completely shredding the paper. It comes more expensive than crosscut shredders.
