| Pros |
Space saver Low Cost Works Well |
| Cons | Very Noisy |
So far, so good. Have had it for a year with no major problems yet. For a small shredder it's very loud when shredding and that's not good for a medical office.
| Pros |
The basket pulls out for convienent dumping. Paper sensor worked well.(Knows when you are trying to shred something.) Worked well until it broke. I would give it higher "Value" marks if repair parts were available. |
| Cons |
Broke after 2yrs of very occasional home use. A gear stripped out. No replacement parts available per Fellows. I gave it 1 star for performance because it broke after very little use.(Useage comparison: Aprox. usage a couple of times a day for 6 months.) |
I took my old Royal Shredder to work when I bought this one 2 yrs ago. It is used every day. STILL works!
Should have kept it.
very poor durability
I have had two of these shredders and the second one was a replacement for the first one. The second one didn't make it two years and I use it for very light duty. I called the manufacturer and they offered no help or support whatsoever. The machine would not shut off after shredding something. I was told that you have to unplug the unit after each shredding, so the shut-off sensor doesn't burn out. This is totally useless to have to unplug the unit after each use, plus the manufacturer didn't seem to care at all.
