The Ativa Powershred CX14W 14 Sheet Cross Cut Paper Shredder shreds up to 14 sheets in a single pass. Chops pages into cross-cut 2" bits. Reaches a maximum shred speed of 6.5 feet per minute (fpm). The 8 3/4" throat width accepts letter-size and legal-size pages. Tough blades slice through staples, credit cards, CDs and floppy disks. Includes 4-gallon wastebasket. Full-bag indicator tells you when it's time to empty. Pros and Cons

Pros None that I can think of except it is fairly quiet.
Cons Cloggs easily and badly. Very frustrating to operate.

I totally agree with Keith King's review, particularly the part about how easily and badly it cloggs and the cleaning time. He is dead on. I would never buy another one again

Pros and Cons

Pros inexpensive, looks nice
Cons clogs badly, makes a real mess when emptying

Review

I have never had a shredder that clogged as badly as this one. Even following recommended lubrication instructions, every time I went to empty the basket (not letting it get full) there were handfuls of shreds clumped below and in the cutters. It would take 20 minutes to clean out most of them on a regular basis. Even the shreds that weren't tightly entangled with the cutters were all over the bottom of the shredder housing so that pulling the basket out scattered shreds all over the floor.
